Constructors Association of Western Pennsylvania
The Constructors Association of Western Pennsylvania (CAWP) is an association dedicated to encouraging and facilitating the organization of employees in the Heavy, Highway, and Utility Construction industries to ensure fair competition, improved labor conditions, and friendly relations between contractors, employees, and the general public.
Trailhead: Where We Started
Following the success of CAWP’s collaboration with TrailBlaze Creative on its Future Road Builders Workforce Campaign, CAWP reached out to TrailBlaze, seeking assistance in the implementation of a customer relationship management system (CRM) and learning management system (LMS) to offer improved services to association members and streamline CAWP’s communications efforts.
Trek: Steps We’ve Taken
After gathering information regarding CAWP’s unique project needs, TrailBlaze conducted research to determine which CRM (customer relationship management) system would best accommodate CAWP’s content goals and smoothly integrate all of CAWP’s existing data. CAWP quickly endorsed TrailBlaze’s selection of long-time partner, Member365, which offers high-level membership management software and customer support. Subsequently, TrailBlaze began migrating all of CAWP’s existing data, assisting with the setup of a streamlined membership platform and complimentary branding for the new system. Serving as project manager throughout the entire process, TrailBlaze provided assistance in developing member types, increasing member engagement (through membership emails, renewals, and sign-up opportunities) and implementing CAWP’s LMS within the Member365 platform. In the process of implementation and advances in CAWP’s logistics, branding, and member engagement, the TrailBlaze team provided informative trainings to familiarize CAWP staff with the new and improved functions of their updated CRM/LMS. Additionally, although CAWP did not require TrailBlaze’s service in providing original course content for its LMS, TrailBlaze worked with course developers to ensure that content was properly integrated and automations within courses, such as certificates, functioned smoothly and aligned with CAWP’s updated branding.
Summit: Vision Realized
As a result of TrailBlaze’s implementation of a new CRM and LMS, CAWP benefitted from a functionally and aesthetically improved platform from which they can now engage with and educate their members. In addition to a successful migration of data and the development of a newly branded and streamlined CRM and LMS, CAWP saved funds in transitioning from its former membership management platform. As a testament to the project’s successful outcomes, CAWP has retained TrailBlaze for ongoing technical support and guidance to ensure CAWP members continue to benefit from the new CRM and LMS platforms.
