Municipal Website Development.
Whitehall Borough is a municipality in Allegheny County that came to TrailBlaze Creative looking for a new, user-friendly website. People within the Whitehall Borough community came to their website looking for recreational events, therefore, they wanted their website to not only be logistically user-friendly, but also aesthetically fun and intuitive to the elements they use on the site. As a result, they asked TrailBlaze Creative to help with a complete redesign of their website.
In order to begin the redesign, TBC dove into creating a user-friendly, and fun design that would do the things that Whitehall Borough would need. The event registration experience was taken into consideration, information navigating was well thought out, and the design was created based on the Whitehall Borough brand and reputation within the community.
After considering the target audience, researching the necessary plugins, and creating a new design for the site, TBC then went to work developing the website. We included links to all social media platforms and necessary accounts for website purposes such as MailChimp, Eventbrite, etc. Once the website was developed, TBC launched the site so their community members could enjoy the easy functionality of the new Whitehall Borough website.
Upon completion of the website, Whitehall Borough decided to expand upon its contract with TBC and asked for help and guidance in creating a digital communications strategy and social media optimization plan. The TBC team was more than willing to help them reach their goals and began developing a digital and social media strategy that would aid Whitehall Borough in increasing their visibility. Through this process, we established a new FaceBook page and created policies for their social channels that fit the needs of their target audience.
