Agility is the key.
Agility is the key.
We understand the challenges nonprofits and small businesses face. Marketing is often the last line on the budget, which means it’s the last challenge solved and the first item cut. Often forgotten but always necessary. This gap in creative capacity means fewer creative minds at the table. Fewer creative minds mean less innovation.
TrailBlaze fills this marketing gap by providing marketing staff to support the strategic and / or tactical needs of organizations. We accomplish this by engaging with clients in three distinct ways: 1) Project-based work on elements like websites, marketing plans, or campaigns; 2) On-call support where we remain available and on-call for marketing needs that may arise; and 3) Marketing-in-Residence®, providing sustained strategic and/or tactical support for organizations, where our team attends internal organization team meetings, supports the strategic and/or tactical needs of the organization as necessary, and uses all of this engagement to identify innovative connectivity and solutions across the organization.
One-off and special engagements around a specific deliverable, like website development, a marketing strategic plan, or campaign strategy and implementation.
Support as needed. If a marketing need pops up, we support it. This would include technical assistance support through nonprofit intermediaries (like SBDCs, foundations, and community technical assistance programs.
Sustained, engaged, and embedded marketing + communications capacity. We help strategize and operationalize alongside an internal team (or we are the internal team).
From workshops and facilitated sessions to managing organizations, TrailBlaze meets organizations at their capacity needs. This includes support beyond traditional marketing and communications.
Regardless of the way organizations engage with TrailBlaze, one constant remains, our commitment to solving challenges that fuel organizational growth and community vitality. Right away, you’ll realize TrailBlaze is different. Anything you may rely on a marketing department to execute, TrailBlaze can execute. However, we are much more than a typical marketing firm. We adapt and morph our support based on the dynamic needs of our clients. Marketing should be agile. As such, modern marketing teams must also be agile. TrailBlaze’s adaptive service model provides you with strategy when you need strategy, graphic design when you need graphic design, and communications when you need communications. This agility creates cohesiveness, long-term efficiencies, staff shortage support, and helps to make our clients more sustainable.
